Over 59 years of extensive local public <br />works design experience and understands <br />the City's needs on this contract. <br />V' ...Assigned a design team and project <br />manager that have the extensive experience <br />implementing PIVIP/Geotechnical <br />investigations on projects. Further, Assigned <br />a qualified PIVI has worked for numerous <br />Cities on multiple types of contracts. <br />v' ...successfully completed multiple recent <br />local and federally funded street PS&E design <br />contracts <br />v ... the staffing necessary to allocated the <br />required resources to meet and exceed the <br />City's scheduling needs <br />... placed and emphasis on design and <br />construction costs are emphasized <br />throughout the design and is included in <br />TAIT's QA/QC Program in order to ensure <br />maximum value is retained by the City. <br />TAIT will carefully reviewed the staffing needs and staff assignments for this project. Of notable <br />importance in our approach to assignment a project -specific Project Manager who will best meet the <br />City's needs for the particular project assignment. Secondly, TAIT will select sub -consultant team <br />members that we have successfully work with on other projects. As an example: LAE Associates could be <br />designated to provide federal funding assistance consultant to ensure the City's documents are <br />processed and approved in a timely manner by Caltrans. <br />STEP 3 4 PLAN (SCOPE OF WORK): <br />Upon selection of the design team for the contract, TAIT initiates the preparation of the detailed project <br />scope of work tailored to the needs of the specific project requirements. (See Scope of Services section) <br />STEP 4 4 EXECUTE. <br />Upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed, TAIT will actively and effectively execute the scope of work for <br />this contract. Our assigned project manager will stay in constant contact with the City and will remain <br />available and responsive to the City's needs through the life of the project. At the heart of each <br />relationship and team member is effective communication of the roles & responsibilities, clualit <br />requirements and scheduling needs. <br />Finally, TAIT has clearly defined the scheduling needs on this contract and will communicate the <br />deadlines and needs to each of the team members. <br />STEP 5 4 QUALITYASSURANCEIQUALITY CONTROL PROGRAM: <br />An important feature of our design process is our Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Program. <br />TAIT has established clearly defined quality control and quality assurance protocols set in place in the <br />office. As part of our scope of services and fee proposal, we have set aside time to ensure that quality <br />control is incorporated in to the contract. TAIT <br />Page 1 6 <br />
