Orange RPU 2023 Biennial Modification to PY 2021-24 Regional Plan <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br /> <br />Outcome 2: Region has developed benchmarks and methods to track workforce partner <br />professional development training on priority sectors and industry workforce needs. <br /> <br />Strategies to be used to achieve this outcome will include, but not be limited to, the <br />following: <br /> <br />2.a. Distribute EDD monthly labor market information to partners <br />2.b. Provide professional development training for workforce system partners and <br />staff that addresses the needs of target sectors and its demand occupations <br />2.c. Develop regional training reports for each target sectors <br />2.d. Track training participation <br />2.e. Survey training effectiveness and perception of knowledge gains <br /> <br />Metrics for this outcome are: <br /> <br />2.a. Percentage of Monthly Information “Blasts” Met: As a measure of efficiency in <br />sharing information with supply-side stakeholders, 100% of planned monthly LMI <br />and other sector-related information “blasts” to stakeholders will be achieved. <br /> <br />2.b. Number of Staff Development Training Sessions: As a measure of availability and <br />access, the number of annual sessions during which staff can participate in <br />training, whether in-person or through other modalities. <br /> <br />2.c. Number of Staff Development Training Participants: As a measure of impact on <br />overall system capacity, the total number of WIOA-funded staff and workforce <br />system partner representatives who annually participate in training. <br /> <br />2.d. Staff Development Training Participant Evaluation on “Ability to Apply Information <br />Learned:” As a measure of customer satisfaction regarding training relevance and <br />utility of information provided, 80% of participants will indicate that they can apply <br />information learned to their work. <br /> <br />B. Impact of Indicators and Metrics on Service Delivery <br /> <br />Local workforce system leaders chose to concentrate their joint efforts on communicating <br />industry workforce needs to supply-side partners. This indicator holds significant promise <br />to increase the effectiveness of the workforce system in supporting businesses that are <br />driving economic growth and creating opportunities for prosperity among workers in the <br />region. The emphasis on supporting training and recruitment of workers for demand <br />occupations within priority industries will increase the effectiveness of local boards, their <br />providers, and system partners in developing and implementing sector strategies.
