PLANNING & BUILDING AGENCY FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 FEE SCHEDULE SECTION X ADOPTED FY 22-23 FEES PROPOSED FY 23-24 FEES DEPARTMENT CHANGESACCOUNTMISCELLANEOUS FEE UNIT PIPELINE PROJECT FEES PER RESOLUTION NO. 2009-018 GENERAL PROVISIONS Unless otherwise provided, payment of fees and charges as established herein shall be made to the Executive Director of the Planning and Building Agency or his/her authorized representative at the time of initial application or request for the permit or service for which a fee is charged or imposed. No permit shall be issued to any person, firm or corporation unless all fees therefore have been paid in full. 51601 51602 51603 51611 51604 51606 SPECIAL INVESTIGATION FEE 107.91 112.33 A special investigation fee shall be charged by the Building Official for any investigation of a building structural work, reports, certification, or any other related work requested by an owner or his authorized agent. Said fee shall be assessed in an amount sufficient to reimburse the City for the costs actually incurred by the City based upon a rate of $107.91 per hour but in no case shall be less than $107.91. 51601 53600 OSHPD CERTIFICATION FEE Whenever plans are submitted for the construction of specialized medical clinics which require by law certification of compliance with requirements set forth by the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD-3 certification), a building permit fee will be paid to the Building Official equivalent to 1% of the construction valuation. An additional plan check fee equivalent to 0.65% of the construction valuation will be paid to the Building Official at the time plans are submitted for plan check.
