Local Arrest Record Checks <br />Existing Fee:None <br />Proposed Fee:$22.00 <br />Title 5 of the United States Code section 9101 and California Penal Code section 13300(f) allows local law <br />enforcement agencies to charge a reasonable fee for providing criminal history information. This new fee would apply <br />to security clearance requests from federal law enforcement agencies, such as the Department of Defense.
