Dangerous and Abandoned Building Fee <br />Existing Fee: <br />Proposed Fee: <br />Currently being included in the Dangerous and Abandoned Building Fee (Code Enforcement) <br />Actual Cost plus Actual Staff Cost <br />This proposed fee is intended to reflect a more accurate description of fees currently being charged for abatement <br />recovery costs outlined in SAMC Section 1-13, 17-25, 17-62. The subject fee will be charged to reimburse the City <br />for actual costs associated with abatement recovery. <br />2. Historic District Designation Fee - Consultant <br />Existing Fee:None <br />Proposed Fee:At cost plus 15% of consultant fee. <br />If a historic neighborhood in Santa Ana desires to pursue district designation status, we would need to hire an outside <br />consultant to assist. Similar to our Project and Environmental Contracts - Consultant 01116002-53607, 15% of the <br />consultant fee would be added to cover administrative costs. <br />3. Mills Act Review <br />Existing Fee:None <br />Proposed Fee:$238.42 <br />This fee will cover staff time costs needed to review Mills Act agreements when due.
