In addition, DYA provided geotechnical services on projects for <br />which the entire project received awards, such as the Orange County Groundwater <br />Replenishment project, which won 2009 local, state, and national awards from the American <br />Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Council of Engineering Companies <br />(ACEC); the SR-22 Design/Build Widening, La Canada Flintridge Inverness Drive Slope <br />Repair, Orange County Transportation Management Center, Balboa Phase I <br />Improvements, and the Alameda Corridor. <br />DYA is a certified Race Conscious Minority Business Enterprise and Disadvantaged <br />Business Enterprise (MBE/DBE) under the California Unified Certification Program <br />(CUCP). <br />q'FR VTr1F'q <br />Construction Materials Testing and Inspection Services <br />AESCO operates a construction materials engineering (CME) laboratory in Huntington <br />Beach, California, and is capable of performing in-house or on -site testing and inspection <br />services. Our laboratory produces thousands of reports annually involving concrete, <br />aggregates, soils in -place, and bituminous materials. AESCO also regularly tests and inspects <br />brick, granite, stone masonry, mortar, reinforcing steel, and manufactured elements such as <br />pre -stressed beams and pre -cast panels. <br />Engineering consultation and inspection services are available for each phase of construction <br />including: <br />• Aggregate Evaluation <br />• Concrete Mixtures -Design, Inspection, and Testing <br />• Bituminous Materials Testing <br />• Up to 600,000-pound universal test machines <br />• Charpy V Notch test apparatus <br />• Rockwell hardness testing machines <br />• Refractory Testing <br />• Concrete Masonry Block <br />• Roof Inspection and Testing <br />• Soils Compaction and Stabilization Tests and Inspection <br />• Structural Steel Fabrication and Erection Inspection and Testing <br />• Qualification of Welders and Procedures <br />• Welding Inspection <br />• Rebar Inspection and Testing <br />• NDT Testing and Inspection <br />Mobile Laboratory <br />AESCO operates a fully functioning, self-sufficient mobile laboratory which can provide <br />immediate and reliable test results for any project.
