(9) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />EXHIBIT I <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Scope of services shall be performed in accordance with the following: <br />A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />1. Contractor shall provide food distribution program services including, but not limited to the <br />following: <br />a) Providing food to individuals and families experiencing food insecurities as a result of <br />the COVID-19 pandemic; <br />b) Distributing food to more than 800 households per month. <br />2. Contractor must provide appropriate levels of staffing, supervision, training, equipment, and <br />supplies required to perform services as specified herein and as proposed to the City. <br />3. Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and guidelines <br />throughout the term of the contract, including any extension periods. <br />4. Contractor must identify distribution locations, dates, and times. <br />5. Contractor must source food to be distributed and coordinate all activities related to <br />distribution of sourced foods. <br />6. Contractor shall be solely responsible for obtaining the proper permits, coordinating any <br />traffic control needed, and for facilitating any other communications required to provide <br />services successfully and in a manner complying with any applicable safety guidelines and <br />regulations at its own cost. <br />7. Contractor and all its representatives and staff shall be courteous to the public and City staff <br />where Contractor is performing work. <br />8. Contractor shall be responsible for clean-up at completion of work. All debris, excess <br />material, and supplies shall be removed at the completion of each distribution event. <br />9. Prepared food or meals shall not be allowed nor distributed under this contract at any time. <br />B. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS <br />1. Contractor shall provide training to all employees and representatives in the work practices <br />necessary to safely perform work as assigned. <br />2. Contractor shall provide at its expense all safeguards, safety devices and protective <br />equipment, and shall take any and all actions approptiate to providing a safe project site. <br />
