<br /> Hazard Mitigation Plan | 2022 <br />Plan Maintenance <br />- 125 - <br /> <br />updating and presenting the Plan to the members of the Planning Team. Plan implementation <br />and evaluation will be a shared responsibility among all of the Planning Team members. The <br />Local Mitigation Officer will coordinate with the City leadership to ensure funding for 5-year <br />updates to Plan as required by FEMA. <br /> <br />The Planning Team will be responsible for coordinating implementation of plan action items and <br />undertaking the formal review process. The Local Mitigation Officer will be authorized to make <br />changes in assignments to the current Planning Team. <br /> <br />The Planning Team will meet no less than annually. Meeting dates will be scheduled once the <br />final Planning Team has been established. These meetings will provide an opportunity to discuss <br />the progress of the action items and maintain the partnerships that are essential for the <br />sustainability of the mitigation plan. The Local Mitigation Officer or designee will be responsible <br />for contacting the Planning Team members and organizing the annual meeting which will take <br />place annually during the month of the Plan’s approval. <br /> <br />Q&A | ELEMENT A: PLANNING PROCESS | A6a. <br />Q: Does the plan identify how, when, and by whom the plan will be monitored (how will implem entation <br />be tracked) over time? (Requirement §201.6(c)(4)(i)) <br />A: See Monitoring the Plan below. <br /> <br />Monitoring the Plan <br />The Local Mitigation Officer will hold an annual meeting with representatives from the coordinating <br />agencies in order to gather status updates on the mitigation action items. These meetings will <br />provide an opportunity to discuss the progress of the action items and maintain the partnerships <br />that are essential for the sustainability of the mitigation plan. See the Annual Implementation <br />Report discussed below which will be a valuable tool for the Planning Team to measure the <br />success of the Hazard Mitigation Plan. The focus of the annual meeting will be on the progress <br />and changes to the Mitigation Action Items. <br /> <br />Q&A | ELEMENT C.
