9SDI <br />SDI PRESENCE EEE <br />TASK DESCRIPTION: SDI will conduct a post -implementation review after system implementation to <br />provide the City with information to help it evaluate the contribution and measure the value gained <br />by implementing the new system. The review will provide for organizational learning by documenting <br />the success of the project and the reasons for that success. It will also identify areas the City may wish <br />to revisit in terms of full implementation of all modules, related features, and functionality. <br />DELIVERABLE: Post Implementation Support <br />Potential Cost for Project Management During New System Implementation <br />Based on our past experience with major system implementations, we recommend the City consider <br />engaging SDI for 32 hours per week over the course of the implementation timeline. Applying our all- <br />inclusive hourly rate of $185 yields an estimated annual cost of $307,840 for implementation project <br />management services. <br />SDI typically suggests to our clients that they consider time and material billing for project management <br />services. This approach provides a cost-effective means of procuring our project management services <br />and helps ensure our clients only pay for the actual services provided each month during implementation. <br />This approach also allows for collaboration between the City's project team and the SDI resource, focusing <br />our resources on the highest priority areas as identified by the City. <br />SDI's invoicing approach provides for monthly billing for services provided in the prior month, with <br />invoices detailing number of hours worked and tasks completed. Our ail -inclusive hourly rate covers all <br />project related costs including mileage and other expenses.
