Resolution No. 2022-XXXPage 1 of 2 <br />RESOLUTION 2022-XXX <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING A SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR THE CITY MANAGER BASED ON <br />EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE <br />WHEREAS, City of Santa Ana(“City”) and Kristine Ridge (“City Manager”) entered <br />into that certain Employment Agreement dated April 30, 2019 (hereinafter “Employment <br />Agreement”), whereby Employee agreed to serve as the City Manager of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana City Charter and Employment Agreement <br />provides that the City Council shall conduct an annual performance evaluation of the City <br />Manager; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council conducted such evaluation on October 4, 2022 <br />resulting in positive performance appraisal; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide a salary adjustment for the City <br />Manager. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana as follows: <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby approves an annual salary for the City <br />Manager of $310,648 (“Annual Salary”). The Annual Salary shall be payable in <br />installment payments in the same manner and at the same times as salaries of other <br />executive managers of the City are paid. <br />Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. <br />Section 3.The Mayor shall sign this Resolution, and the City Clerk shall attest <br />to and certify to the passage and adoption thereof. <br />ADOPTED this ____ day of November, 2022. <br />___________________________ <br />Vicente Sarmiento <br />Mayor <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Sonia R.
