<br />RFP 22-026 Armed & Unarmed Security Guard Services at Various City Facilities Page 31 <br /> <br />(4) Fire Department activities on or near the City’s property; <br />(5) Any incident involving a weapon, including incidents requiring the <br />use or display of the security guard’s firearm other than normal <br />visibly holstered status. <br />3. Other Reports: <br />The Security Guard Company shall establish an account for the City of Santa Ana. <br />The City shall receive a monthly statement for armed security services to include <br />the following information: <br />a. Itemization and summary of the amount due, date, location, department <br />name and Purchase Order number; and <br />b. All unpaid invoices, payments received, and credits issued for the location. <br />The City of Santa Ana shall be responsible for paying all approved charges to its <br />account. Contractor shall keep a daily attendance log for all armed security guards <br />assigned to the City of Santa Ana along with a weekly summation of all hours <br />worked, and must be able to provide this documentation upon request from the <br />department. <br />4. Contractor shall maintain an internal self-correcting mechanism to minimize <br />negligence of duty by the armed security guards assigned to the City of Santa Ana <br />facilities. <br /> <br />SITE SPECIFIC SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />SANTA ANA REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION CENTER <br /> <br />The Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center (SARTC) is located at 1000 East Santa Ana Boulevard, <br />Santa Ana, CA 92701. The facility covers 6.75 acres and contains a 47,000-square-foot terminal, two <br />surface parking lots with a total of 282 spaces, and one four-story parking structure with 423 spaces. A <br />three-story pedestrian bridge takes travelers to the east train platform. A second pedestrian bridge <br />connects the parking structure to the main facility. The terminal building is open from 5:00 AM to midnight <br />daily. The parking structure is open to the public from 4:00 AM to midnight daily. <br /> <br />The SARTC terminal building contains approximately 35,000 square feet of rental space, plus a five-story <br />theme tower that includes small meeting/conference rooms on the 4th and 5th floors. Tenants include <br />Amtrak, Greyhound Lines and office space is leased on the 2nd and 3rd floors. <br /> <br />As a regional transportation hub and public services facility, various local, state, and federal authorities <br />have law enforcement jurisdiction within the facility. The lead authority is the Santa Ana Police <br />Department. The Orange and Los Angeles County Sheriffs, the California Highway Patrol, OCTA Police, <br />Amtrak Police, and the Department of Homeland Security are amongst the other law enforcement <br />agencies that hold jurisdiction. The SARTC is designated as a Homeland Security critical infrastructure <br />locale. <br /> <br /> <br />
