Public Works Agency <br />www.santa-ana.org/pw <br />Item # 16 <br />City of Santa Ana <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br />Staff Report <br />October 18, 2022 <br />TOPIC: Agreements for A -Tech Consulting, Inc., Dudek, and Leighton Consulting, Inc. <br />for On -Call Various Environmental Services: Environmental Site Assessment and <br />Hazardous Materials Surveys <br />AGENDA TITLE <br />Approve Agreements with A -Tech Consulting, Inc., Dudek, and Leighton Consulting Inc. <br />for On -Call Various Environmental Services in an Amount Not to Exceed $135,000 for <br />Each Specialty Area for Three -Year Terms (Non -General Fund) <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Authorize the City Manager to execute agreements with A -Tech Consulting, Inc., Dudek, <br />and Leighton Consulting Inc., to provide environmental site assessments and hazardous <br />materials survey services in a shared aggregate amount not to exceed $135,000 annually <br />for each specialty area, for a three-year term beginning October 18, 2022 and expiring <br />October 17, 2025, with an option for two, one-year extensions, subject non -substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and the City Attorney. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Public Works Agency desires to enter into agreements with qualified consulting firms <br />to lead efforts to perform various environmental services for site assessments and <br />hazardous materials surveys on an as -needed or "on -call" basis. (Exhibits 1 through 6). <br />On June 30, 2022, the Public Works Agency released Request for Proposals (RFP) No. <br />22-090 for various environmental services. The RFP was advertised on the City's online <br />procurement management and publication system, with proposals due on August 1, 2022. <br />Eight proposals were received and evaluated by a selection committee composed of City <br />staff from the Public Works Agency. Based on criteria outlined in the RFP, the following <br />summarizes the responding firms and their rankings: <br />
