<br />Description of Work
<br />
<br />It is the intent of this agreement to continually improve the quality of the facilities. The
<br />Contractor shall provide all labor, training, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, hauling,
<br />dumping, chemicals and other items needed to perform high quality park janitorial maintenance
<br />pursuant to the terms defined herein. This RFP identifies facilities in to two groups, park
<br />restrooms and park buildings. Park buildings include community centers (including gymnasium,
<br />if applicable) and other facilities that are not stand-alone restroom-only structures, which are
<br />considered park restrooms.
<br />
<br />The Contractor shall provide all park restroom janitorial maintenance at work sites listed herein,
<br />including, but not limited to cleaning, scrubbing, polishing, toilets, urinals, doors, walls, floors,
<br />ceilings, windows, partitions, dispensers, hand rails plumbing fixtures, and replacing burned out
<br />lights, lens covers, removing foreign materials i.e. paper wads stuck to ceilings, walls, etc. In
<br />addition, the Contractor shall clean the exterior of the building surfaces including the walls, roof,
<br />windows, etc. and, other services required to maintain the work sites in a safe, attractive and
<br />useable condition.

<br />The Contractor shall provide all park building janitorial maintenance at work sites listed herein,
<br />including, but not limited to cleaning, scrubbing, polishing of windows, desks, cabinets,
<br />computers, phones, kitchen appliances, hanging amenities (clocks, pictures, Knox boxes,
<br />etc.),toilets, urinals, doors, walls, floors, ceilings, windows, partitions, dispensers, hand rails
<br />plumbing fixtures, and replacing burned out lights at the contractors expense, lens covers,
<br />removing foreign materials i.e. paper wads stuck to ceilings, walls, etc. In addition, the
<br />Contractor shall clean the exterior of the building surfaces required to maintain the work sites in
<br />a safe, attractive and useable condition.
<br />
<br />Contractor understands that it is assuming maintenance responsibility of the parks/locations “as
<br />is” and is responsible for improving all aspects of the parks facilities to the quality described in
<br />these specifications and interpreted by the City’s Representative.
<br />
<br />Proposers shall be responsible for monitoring the site to obtain information regarding this
<br />solicitation.
