CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />RFP NO.: 20-139 <br />DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT <br />OF DIGITAL BILLBOARDS AND MANAGEMENT OF BUS SHELTERS AND STOPS <br />improvements, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, pavement, etc.) within the bus stop associated <br />area; and only that area which is part of the public right-of-way (e.g., sidewalks and streets <br />open to public access). <br />e. Maintenance and Repair <br />The Company shall be responsible for all maintenance and repair, including the replacement <br />of parts, at its own expense. The Company shall be required to report, to the City, on its <br />maintenance and repair activities and to perform the following activities: <br />i. Replacement poly -carbonate screen protectors shall be provided to the Company for <br />installation by the Company in the event that an LED solar panel is vandalized. <br />ii. Company shall spray for weed control within 20 feet of the outer edges of benches. <br />iii. Traffic control shall be provided by Company to ensure that no personnel, equipment, <br />and/or vehicles block lanes without proper warning signs and all required safety measures. <br />Graffiti removal from all bus stop amenities, including but not limited to, bus stop signs, bus <br />stop poles, shelters, benches, trash receptacles, bike racks, etc., is the responsibility of the <br />City. The City is committed to removing graffiti within 24 hours of notification. <br />L Painting <br />All non -galvanized (green) bus shelters shall be painted, by Company, within six months after <br />the execution of Agreement and as determined by the City based on the condition of the bus <br />shelter, thereafter. All bus shelters, except for the galvanized bus shelters, shall also be <br />painted, by the Company, at an interval determined by the City. For the purpose of this RFP, <br />Company shall plan on painting half of the current inventory of bus shelters on odd years. <br />g. Cleaning and Maintenance Schedule <br />The frequency for cleaning and performing maintenance (including painting) at bus shelters <br />and bus stops is presented in Table 2 below. —For non -routine cleaning, receiving notifications <br />and for associated task management, the selected proposer shall subscribe to the <br />"mySantaAna" app. <br />Page 15 of 18 <br />
