Award a construction contract to Allinone Construction, Inc., the lowest responsible <br />bidder, in accordance with the base bid in the amount of $427,051.62, for construction <br />of the City Hall 3rd Floor Tenant Improvements Project, for the term beginning May 2, <br />2022 and ending upon project completion, and authorize the City Manager to execute <br />the contract subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager and <br />the City Attorney. <br />2. Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated construction delivery cost of <br />$576,519.94, which includes $427,051.62 for the construction contract, $64,058.00 <br />for contract administration, inspection and testing, and $85,410.32 of project <br />contingency for unanticipated or unforeseen work. <br />3. Approve an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2021-22 Capital Improvement Program to <br />include $576,519.94 in construction funds for City Hall 3rd Floor Tenant Improvements <br />Project (Project No. 22-1401). <br />DISCUSSION <br />Facilities at City Hall and the Ross Annex are currently undergoing floor renovations <br />(Exhibit 1). To minimize the impact to daily operations of our employees and the general <br />public, work has been programmed to take place in phases. The existing facility on the <br />3rd Floor of City Hall is outdated and some materials are beginning to show signs of <br />deterioration and need of replacement. This project will include updating lighting, <br />plumbing fixtures, finishes, demolition and installation of non-loadbearing interior <br />partitions, and ceiling finishes.
