right to begin negotiations with the next highest ranked proposer and/or reject any/all <br />proposals. <br />V. AWARD OF AGREEMENT <br />A. REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Following evaluation and rating by the proposal review committee, the Executive Director <br />will recommend award of an agreement to the PROPOSER(S) providing the best quality <br />and value to the CITY. <br />B. EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />A standard agreement is included as Attachment 2, in the Appendix of this RFP. <br />"PROPOSER" will hereinafter be referred to as "Consultant" in standard agreement. The <br />term of the agreement will begin after the agreement is fully executed, and all required <br />bonds, insurance documents and contents of the payment information packet have been <br />received and approved. <br />VI. IMPLEMENTATION <br />A. KICK-OFF MEETING <br />A kick-off meeting may be held after award of contract. Consultant and its team will meet <br />with City of Santa Ana staff to conduct introductions, discuss scope of services, and <br />implementation process. <br />B. NOTICE TO PROCEED <br />Following the kick-off meeting, a formal Notice to Proceed (NTP) may be issued after the <br />agreement is fully executed, and all insurance documents and contents of the Payment <br />Information Packet have been received and approved. <br />VII. PUBLIC RECORDS <br />All responses to the RFP shall become property of the CITY, and proposals will become public <br />record after award of agreement. PROPOSER information identified as proprietary information <br />shall be maintained confidential, to the extent allowed under the California Public Records Act. <br />The City of Santa Ana, City Attorney Office will make the determination on whether information <br />identified as proprietary meets confidentiality requirements. <br />City of Santa Ana RFP 22-009A <br />Page 12 <br />
