Notification of Intent to Comply with California Senate Bill 1383 <br />March 1, 2022 <br />Page 2 <br />2 <br />4 <br />6 <br />5 <br />City implementation of the SB 1383 action items is underway. The SB 1383-mandated <br />recycling ordinance (amendment to the Municipal Code, Chapter 16. Garbage, Trash and <br />Weed, Article II. Solid Waste Collection Regulations) is scheduled for City Council <br />consideration on March 15, 2022. In addition, the new franchise solid waste services <br />agreement with Republic Services will become effective July 1, 2022. It includes all SB <br />1383 programmatic requirements. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />EXHIBIT(S) <br />1.
