City Produced Events <br />February 15, 2022 <br />Page 3 <br />2 <br />4 <br />4 <br />6 <br />4. Juneteenth Celebration @ Centennial Park <br />Saturday, June 18, 2022; 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. <br />In observance of the Juneteenth holiday, this event will commemorate the <br />abolishment of slavery in the United States of America and celebrate African <br />American heritage, culture and achievement. The event will include live music <br />and dance performances, exhibitors, vendors, food, and fun activities for the <br />whole family. <br />Separately, below are the proposed City-produced events for Fiscal Year 2022-23 (from <br />July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023), pending budget approval: <br />1. Summer at the Plaza <br />July to August 2022 <br />This multi-faceted event series will be a combination of both City and privately <br />produced event programming. A variety of dynamic and inclusive events will <br />include the following: roller-skating rink activation, concerts, outdoor movie <br />screenings, food fair/festival, cultural celebrations, and more. <br />2. Fourth of July Celebration @ Centennial Park <br />Monday, July 4, 2022; 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. <br />This family-friendly patriotic celebration will include special speakers, live music <br />performances, exhibitors, vendors, food trucks, arts and crafts, games, bounce <br />houses and free opportunity drawings. The event will conclude with a 20-minute <br />fireworks finale. <br />3. Birch Summer Nights @ Birch Park <br />Every Friday; August 5 through 26, 2022 <br />This new series will include four outdoor performances at Birch Park. <br />Performances will include music, dance, theater, film or other forms of interactive <br />programs. Coordination with downtown businesses and restaurants, as well as <br />collaboration with the City on cross-promotion and marketing opportunities will <br />take place. Guests will be invited to bring their own lawn chairs and dinner from <br />local Santa Ana restaurants. <br />4. Santa Ana Concerts in the Park Series @ Centennial Park <br />Thursdays, August 4 through 25, 2022; 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. <br />This concert series will include four outdoor concerts of various music styles. <br />Additional activities will include arts and crafts, games, bounce houses and free
