UNDERSTANDING OF NEED 1 2 <br />-T T•'r'r . <br />• Pre -construction <br />designs temporary installations of traffic control devices such as <br />Planning <br />video/radar detectors, Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), and ramp <br />• Signing and Striping <br />meters that can be relocated during various stages of construction. <br />Plans <br />Traffic Management Plans (TMP) frequently utilize portable DMS and <br />• Staged Construction <br />highway advisory radio. Iteris prepares plans for temporary parking, <br />Analysis <br />temporary access to adjoining properties, and transit service and <br />• Traffic Maintenance <br />mitigation measures on detour routes. Iteris is fully acquainted with <br />• Traffic Management <br />many local agency and Department of Transportation guidelines and <br />Centers <br />requirements for TMP. Iteris also provides program and project <br />• Traffic Management <br />management assistance during construction by serving as an extension <br />Planning <br />of agency staff, directly interfacing with adjacent cites, Caltrans, utility <br />• Traffic Signal <br />companies, and third -party contractors.
