Attachment A - Joint Agreement for 800 MHz CCCS <br />Page 9 of 83 <br />3.2.2 Sponsored Agencies <br />Partner Agencies may, with Lead Agency review and Governance Committee Approval, <br />sponsor non -partner agencies to participate in the system. <br />3.2.2.1 Sponsored Agencies Approval Process: <br />1) Sponsoring Partner Agency submits to the Lead Agency an official <br />written request to add a Sponsored Agency. <br />2) Lead Agency gathers relevant information from Sponsoring Partner <br />Agency to determine the feasibility of the request and the potential <br />impact on the System Operation and the existing Members. <br />3) Lead Agency reviews all available information to determine the <br />feasibility of the request to add the Sponsored Agency. Lead Agency <br />shall work with the Sponsoring Partner Agency to determine the <br />additional costs to the Sponsoring Partner Agency. <br />4). Lead Agency presents the request to the Governance Committee at a <br />Governance Committee Meeting. Governance Committee shall approve <br />or deny the addition of the Sponsored Agency. <br />3.2.2.2 Sponsored Agency Access and Limitations <br />Sponsored Agencies are only allowed access to use the common <br />talkgroups/channels and select agency specific talkgroups/channels of <br />the sponsoring Partner Agency, as recommended by the Lead Agency <br />and approved by the Governance Committee. Sponsored Agencies do not <br />have a role in defining the operation of the System. The inclusion or <br />exclusion of Sponsored Agencies in the System will be determined by <br />the Governance Committee and will be reviewed annually or as needed. <br />Partner Agencies shall be responsible for any System use by a Sponsored <br />Agency. Sponsored Agencies must use the same common talkgroups as <br />the sponsoring Partner Agency. <br />3.2.2.3. Sponsored Agency Financial Responsibilities <br />Sponsored Agency financial responsibilities are outlined in section 5.2.4 <br />below. <br />3.3 Mutual Aid Agencies <br />Certain governmental agencies may, with Lead Agency review and Governance <br />Committee Approval, be granted access to the System for the express purpose of <br />providing mutual aid to Partner Agencies. Mutual Aid agencies are limited to and <br />identified within ATTACHMENT C <br />3.3.1 Mutual Aid Agency Approval Process: <br />1) Any Partner Agency may submit to the Lead Agency an official written <br />request to add a Mutual Aid Agency. <br />0 <br />
