4 <br /> <br />F. Equipment <br />1) Furnish and provide cell phone to facilitate on-site communication <br />between guards, supervisor, business owners, residents, City staff and <br />his/her designee. <br />2) Transportation car/golf cart/electric vehicle (optional element of this <br />RFP): ability to research a transportation car/golf cart/electric vehicle <br />that is street-legal that can be purchased by the contractor on behalf <br />of the City, which will ultimately become City property at the termination <br />of the agreement with proper reimbursement for the cost of the vehicle. <br />Transportation vehicle will be used predominantly for security guards to <br />patrol the area more efficiently and may be used to transport goods <br />and/or people for urgent or sensitive matters in DTSA. <br /> <br />G. Reports <br />1) Submit activity reports from the prior security shift within six hours, in the <br />method required, and on the forms required. <br />2) Include any pertinent information or backup documentation with your <br />reports. <br />3) General: Report immediately, verbally and or in writing as soon as <br />practically possible taking safety into consideration; especially <br />concerning issues that may require immediate action to avoid potential <br />escalation. If possible, take photos of the observation or interaction and <br />attach to email, text, pictures, and written reports. <br />4) Safety, Injury, or Damage: any impending, occurring, or potential <br />hazards, incidents, or accidents that have harmed, are harming, or <br />could likely harm persons, animals, plants, property, environment, or the <br />like. <br />5) Public Nuisances: any observations of any public nuisances. <br />6) Business Interactions: any interactions with business owners and or <br />persons. <br />7) Work Performance Delays: anything that is or could potentially delay or <br />prevent work from being performed within the designated times and <br />locations. <br />8) Follow up Activities: all action items from the above section, which may <br />have been verbally reported, but a written report was not possible at <br />the time; and all action items as required by City Representative. <br /> <br /> <br />EXHIBIT 1
