5 <br /> <br />H. License and Permits <br />1) Contractor and assigned personnel shall possess all licenses and permits <br />required by the following entities: federal, state, county, city, and other <br />necessary entities. <br /> <br />I. Provide Security Guards for as-needed assignments within 24 hours of <br />notification from City Representative. <br /> <br />J. Legal & Best Practice Requirements <br />1) Be self-informed, abide by, and comply with all, current and applicable, <br />local, county, state, federal or other legal requirements and best <br />practices at all times. <br />2) Do not cause, allow to be caused, or permit the continuance of any <br />violation of any legal requirements or best management practices. <br /> <br />3) Be responsible and bear all associated costs should any work be <br />performed in contrary to any laws, ordinances, codes, rules, or <br />regulations. <br /> <br />4) Must have a valid State of California, Bureau of Security and <br />Investigative Services, Private Patrol Operator's license for the required <br />work. <br /> <br />5) Contractor must provide everything necessary at company expense <br />including, but not limited to all labor, supplies, tools, equipment, and the <br />like required to perform and complete the required services. <br /> <br />6) Contractor must perform and comply with all work per these <br />specifications, according to all applicable and acceptable industry <br />standards, of the highest quality commensurate with the required <br />service. <br /> <br />7) Contractor must comply with and be fully responsible at all times for <br />being up-to-date regarding all applicable legal requirements in <br />accordance with the attached specifications. <br /> <br />K. Security guard/supervisor/liaison that does not meet all legal requirements and <br />all requirements as specified herein, as deemed in City Representative’s sole <br />discretion, must be immediately removed from post assignment, is not <br />permitted to be reassigned to any City post, and must be replaced <br />immediately with a security guard who meets all legal requirements and all <br />requirements as specified herein; NO EXCEPTIONS. <br />EXHIBIT 1
