Approve an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2021-22 Capital Improvement Program <br />adding the Residential Street Repair Program FY 2021-22 Project with a budget of <br />$554,582 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) fund. <br />2. Award a construction contract to Nobest Incorporated, the lowest responsible bidder, <br />in accordance with the base bid in the amount of $299,090, for construction of the <br />Local Street Curb Ramp Improvements FY 2021-22, for the term beginning January <br />3, 2022 and ending upon project completion, and authorize the City Manager to <br />execute the contract subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City <br />Manager and the City Attorney. <br />3. Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated construction delivery cost of <br />$554,582, which includes $299,090 for the construction contract, $44,863.50 for <br />contract administration, inspection and testing, and a $210,628.50 project contingency <br />for unanticipated or unforeseen work. <br />DISCUSSION <br />This work includes installing ADA curb ramps at various locations in the City of Santa <br />Ana, adjacent to Santa Anita, Winsor Village North, Centennial Park, and New Horizon <br />neighborhoods (Exhibit 1). The improvements include replacement of damaged and <br />deteriorated concrete sidewalk, and installation of curbs, gutters, and ADA ramps. All <br />works referenced in the recommended action provides the total financing for the project. <br />
