Proposal to provide <br />Landscape Architectural Design for Standard -McFadden Park — RFP No. 21-055 <br />E. Relevant Project Experience <br />Memory Lane Park, Santa Ana, California <br />DEA prepared conceptual planning and final <br />design for the award -winning Memory Lane Park <br />and Trailhead in the City of Santa Ana. The park <br />was designed to provide recreational opportunities <br />to the area residents, general public, and bike & <br />equestrian riders along the Santa Ana River Trail. <br />The pocket park includes a children's play area, <br />fitness equipment, nature garden, trails, bike racks, <br />equestrian hitching posts, picnic area, site furnishings, <br />a dry creek bed with pedestrian bridge, signage, <br />security lighting and landscaping. <br />Year Completed: 2016 <br />Client Name: City of Santa Ana <br />Contact: Suzi Furjanic - 714.571.4241 <br />Mariposa Park, Santa Ana, California <br />DEA provided surveying, engineering, and landscape <br />architectural design for a new half -acre neighborhood <br />park in the City of Santa Ana. The local residents <br />requested that the park include a playground, a <br />teaching area for active lifestyle classes, and a <br />community garden. The design includes walkways, <br />playground equipment, a picnic area, a shade <br />structure, a rock bioswale, California friendly plants <br />(including fruit trees), drip irrigation, low impact <br />development drainage, lighting, and other amenities, <br />including a park entrance sign, interpretive signage, <br />benches, picnic tables, bike racks, and a drinking <br />fountain. <br />Year Completed: 2019 <br />Client Name: City of Santa Ana <br />Contact Name: Suzi Furjanic - 714.571.4241 <br />The Tracks at Brea, California <br />DEA landscape architects and civil engineers <br />prepared conceptual plans and final construction <br />documents for several segments of the multiple <br />award -winning Tracks at Brea, a four -mile trail <br />that traverses from west to east across the City of <br />Brea. Segment 3 is a one -mile segment of Class <br />I meandering trail through an abandoned rail <br />corridor. The project scope included work between <br />Brea Boulevard and State College Boulevard and <br />incorporates both hard and soft surface trail, native <br />plantings, site furnishings, and a lighted parking area. <br />Segment 4 is a nearly one -mile long multi -modal <br />trail between State College and Birch Street.
