Proposal to provide <br />Landscape Architectural Design for Standard -McFadden Park — RFP No. 21-055 <br />allowing 10 feet for each use. Segment 2 included soil <br />remediation and rough grading construction. Segment <br />2 is approximately 1,400 lineal feet in length and <br />terminates on the east at Brea Boulevard. The work <br />included coordination with a geotechnical consultant <br />to implement the Removal Action Work Plan, the <br />development of soil removal and rough grading plans, <br />and the Notice of Intent and Stormwater Pollution <br />Prevention Plan. The rough grading plans were <br />developed to incorporate the concept plan prepared <br />by DEA's landscape architects. The project includes <br />a dual purpose trail system, site furnishings and <br />plantings, maintenance vehicle access, and a stair <br />system for access to Segment 1. <br />Year Completed: 2018 <br />Client Name: OCTA (formerly with City of Brea) <br />Contact: Roslyn Lau - 714.671.4403 <br />Bryce Hanes Park, San Bernardino, California <br />DEA landscape architects developed a conceptual <br />master plan and construction documents for the <br />award -winning two -acre Bryce Hanes Park in the <br />City of San Bernardino. The park is located on a <br />busy corner in an underserved neighborhood and <br />includes many of the elements identified throughout <br />the community input process such as a water <br />`sprayground', a skate park, soccer field, open space <br />play, picnic areas, a basketball court, signage, fitness <br />area, a restroom, art in public places, and parking. <br />Sustainable features include permeable paving, <br />drought tolerant planting, solar lighting, `Smart' <br />irrigation techniques, recycled/ recyclable materials <br />and groundwater recharge. <br />Year Completed: 2016 <br />Client Name: San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District <br />Contact: Wen Huang, PE - 909.435.8418 <br />OCTA Bicycle and Pedestrian Trail <br />Garden Grove, California <br />The City of Garden Grove selected DEA to design a <br />Class I trail that provides connectivity for bicyclists <br />and pedestrians to a variety of uses along the Orange <br />County Transportation Authority railroad right-of- <br />way, including neighborhoods, schools, parks, and <br />commercial centers.
