Projects include homeless encampment cleanings, emergency response, waste management, <br />decontamination and demolition. Identifies unknown chemicals using haz-cat procedures and chemical <br />packaging. Performs job -walks, prepare estimates and bids, and job costing. <br />Noteworthy Projects: <br />Supervisor, City of Long Beach, April 2011 to present (Single Source) <br />Ocean Blue services multiple departments for the City of Long Beach, including Public Works, the Water <br />Department, Sanitation, Health/Hazmat and Gas & Oil. Mr. Gaeta is our single liaison for the Long Beach <br />Water Department contributing to an overall contract value of $800K+ per year. Such work includes homeless <br />encampment cleanings, emergency response, hazardous waste management, stormdrain management, and <br />abandoned waste pickups. <br />Supervisor, City of Pico Rivera, August 2019 to present (Single Source) <br />Mr. Gaeta is the single point of contact for our City of Pico Rivera Contract. While Ocean Blue has done <br />various work with the City pre-2019, the City decided to enter a formal contract with us effectively <br />piggybacking our larger LACDPW contract (terms & pricing). This contract is valued at $180K over three <br />years. Such work includes homeless encampment cleanings, emergency response, hazardous waste <br />management and abandoned waste pickups. <br />Supervisor, City of Lakewood, April 1996 to present (Single Source) <br />The City of Lakewood contract is valued at $35K per year. While it is a smaller contract, the City of Lakewood <br />opened doors to neighboring cities like the City of Hawaiian Gardens, the City of Cerritos, and the City of La <br />Palma: all of whom are now our customers for homeless encampment cleanings, waste management services <br />and emergency response.
