Master Pay Schedule <br />April 6, 2021 <br />Page 2 <br />6 <br />1 <br />0 <br />3) The Police Management Association (PMA) - relating to CalPERS employee cost <br />sharing contribution, as authorized on August 18, 2020 through Memorandum of <br />Understanding (MOU) A-2019-187. <br />4) Incorporate the Police Officers Association (POA) Education Incentive Program, as <br />authorized on February 5, 2019 through Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) A-2019- <br />027. <br />5) The resolution amending the classification and compensation plan to create one part- <br />time job Classification and Compensation Plan, as approved on December 15, 2020 <br />through Resolution No. 2020-101. <br />Adoption of this resolution (Exhibit 1) will comply with CalPERS’ interpretation of the <br />requirements of Title 2 of the California Code of Regulations section 570.5 by affirming <br />the single Master Salary Schedule already on the City’s website and publically available <br />and representing all previously approved actions on individual employee classifications <br />set forth as part of the salary schedule. <br />CalPERS, pursuant to their interpretation of Title 2 of the California Code of Regulations <br />Section 570.5, which recommends all California Public Employees’ Retirement System <br />(CalPERS) employers to maintain their compensation levels in one publicly available <br />document, approved and adopted by the governing body, which must meet all of the <br />following requirements: <br />A. Has been duly approved and adopted by the employer's governing body in <br />accordance with requirements of applicable public meetings laws; <br />B. Identifies the position title for every employee position; <br />C. Shows the pay rate for each identified position, which may be stated as a single <br />amount or as multiple amounts within a range; <br />D. Indicates the time base, including, but not limited to, whether the time base is <br />hourly, daily, bi-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, or annually; <br />E.Is posted at the office of the employer or immediately accessible and available for <br />public review from the employer during normal business hours or posted on the <br />employer's internet website; <br />F. Indicates an effective date and date of any revisions; <br />G. Is retained by the employer and available for public inspection for not less than five <br />years;
