Public Works Agency <br />https://www.santa-ana.org/pw <br />Item # 13 <br />City of Santa Ana <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br /> Staff Report <br />February 16, 2021 <br />TOPIC: Furniture, Installation, and Related Services <br />AGENDA TITLE: <br />Approve a Purchase Order Contract Amendment to Increase the Aggregate Amount <br />Allocated to the Public Works Agency by $163,808 for a Total Aggregate Amount Not to <br />Exceed $1,777,548, for Office Furniture, Installation, and Related Services with the <br />Established City Vendors (Specification No. 19-114) (Non-General Fund) <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract amendment to increase the aggregate <br />amount allocated to the Public Works Agency by $163,808, for a new total aggregate <br />amount not to exceed $1,777,548, for office furniture, installation, and related services <br />with the established City vendors, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the <br />City Manager and City Attorney. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Public Works Agency Administrative Services Division has added new staff to <br />accommodate the increased workload created by the transfer of responsibilities from a <br />different division. As a result, the division needs to reconfigure existing workspaces <br />located in the Ross Annex Building. In addition, the Public Works Agency Facilities <br />Division is evaluating current staffing levels and workspace locations creating the need <br />to update and furnish new workstations. <br />On December 3, 2019, the City Council awarded contracts to the following vendors for <br />the purchase of office furniture, installation, and related services: <br />Vendor Location <br />Culver-Newlin Corona <br />GM Business Interiors Riverside <br />Interior Office Solutions Irvine <br />Pivot Interiors Costa Mesa <br />Yamada Enterprises Huntington Beach <br />
