Because the City's best interests will
always be our foremost objective, we will develop a plan to ensure a seamless transition
during the next successor's phase -in period. Intratek will deliver a Phase -Out Plan to include
efforts to assist the successor in the development of plans, procedures and methods for
assumption of all on -going work and provide an orderly transition so that full control by the
successor is achieved at the end of the phase -out.
4.1.5.5 Remote Work Policy
Staff assigned to a client are permitted to work from home if requested and/or approved to
do so by the client. We have clients who regularly request our staff work remotely due to
space constraints within their facilities, the feasibility of finding local individuals for
positions with unique or hard -to -find skill sets, and/or the geographic location of the client's
facilities. Also, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and in compliance with established
CDC guidelines, most of our staff working at client facilities have been requested to work
from home to observe local government "safer at home" recommendations. In those
instances, Intratek fully supports and assists both the client and employee.
If work is performed from a location other than the standard job site, the employee uses a
PC or laptop and software compatible with the client's environment, or the equipment
provided by the client. Personnel are instructed to work the exact hours the customer
operates, which may require personnel to work outside of 8:00am to 5:00pm time.
4.1.5.6 Quality Assurance
Intratek's overall Quality Control Plan (QCP) serves as a framework that consists of several
measures to ensure the City receives the highest quality services. Our QCP follows Total
Quality Management principles, which state that quality control is the responsibility of
every employee; therefore, all employees are charged with successfully completing their
duties while continuously searching for, and recommending, ways to improve existing
processes. Experience has proven this approach ensures accountability; improves efficiency;
increases customer satisfaction; and promotes cost control contract wide.
The QCP is a living document, to be updated as needed. Its underlying premise is the
ongoing evaluation of our performance to ensure services are provided consistently,
continuously and without interruption.
