The bridge connects <br />Moffett Drive from Irvine to Tustin, increasing <br />access and street connectivity within the Tustin <br />Legacy development. The scope of work <br />included the construction of a single span cast- <br />in -place concrete box girder bridge 108' long x <br />73.25' wide. Additional scope items included the following: installation of an <br />architectural steel arch on each side of the bridge; bridge lighting; grading; <br />roadway construction; street and landscape improvements; utility construction; <br />domestic and recycled water; dry utilities; aesthetic treatments; construction of <br />barriers, sidewalks, wing -walls, foundation, and railings; structure excavation; <br />backfill; and drainage. Butier staff coordinated with the Department of the Navy, <br />USACE, Caltrans, the City of Irvine, IRWD, Orange County Flood Control <br />District, Southern California Gas Co., and SCE. <br />Butier provided construction management and <br />field inspection services. The project extended <br />from the existing "Tee" intersection of Red Hill <br />Avenue and Victory Road southeast to <br />Armstrong Avenue. The scope of work <br />consisted of finishing of undercuts of streets <br />and parkway grading; erosion and sediment <br />control; installation of basins, storm drain, and <br />drainage structures; construction of channels and swales; protection in place <br />and/or demolition of IRWD facilities; pavement striping, signing and delineation; <br />traffic sign installation and interconnect; and construction of water, reclaimed <br />water and sanitary sewer facilities. Butier coordinated with the County of Orange, <br />IRWD, Caltrans, USACE, RWQCB, OCSD, South Coast AQMD, and SCE. <br />Butier provided construction management and <br />inspection services. Armstrong Avenue, which <br />previously ended at Warner Avenue, was <br />extended to Barranca Parkway. Warner was <br />extended from Red Hill Avenue to Tustin _ <br />Ranch Road. The extensions have helped put <br />the backbone infrastructure in place for the <br />Tustin Legacy. The scope of work included <br />construction of street improvements; roadway <br />paving; dry utility installation; construction of drainage facilities; pavement <br />striping, signing and delineation; traffic signal installation and interconnect at <br />Warner Avenue and future "G" Street, Warner Avenue and Armstrong Avenue, <br />and Warner Avenue and Tustin Ranch Road; landscaping and irrigation <br />installation; and waterline, and reclaimed water and sewer line construction. <br />BUTIER D.
