California Science and Technology University has not entered into any transfer or articulation <br />agreements with any other college or university, <br />California Science and Technology University does not offer English as a Second Language <br />instruction. All instruction occurs in English. <br />Applicants whose native language is not English and have not completed their studies at an <br />accredited U.S. college or university must submit evidence of English proficiency through one of <br />the following sources: <br />• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score (master's degree) <br />of 500 for paper -based, or 60 for iBT Internet -based, or 6.0 for IELTS Score, or 85 for <br />Duolingo, or any other English test score that is comparable to the above scores. <br />• A transcript verifying completion of at least 30 semester hours of credit with an average <br />grade of "C" or higher at an appropriately accredited college or university where the <br />language of instruction was English; `B" or higher for a master's degree. <br />• A transcript verifying a grade of "C" or higher in an English composition course from an <br />appropriately accredited/recognized college or university; `B" or higher for a master's <br />degree. <br />Students who have completed their undergraduate degrees at a nationally or regionally accredited <br />U.S. college or university, students who have been working in the United States for more than <br />two (2) years, or who have studied at other universities for more than one (1) years are not <br />required to submit an English testing score. <br />Any document sent by an applicant in support of his or her application may be reviewed by <br />relevant institutions, including the institution issuing the documentation and/or by an established <br />foreign evaluation service that can establish degree comparability. <br />Three credible providers of credential evaluations are World Education Services (WES <br />www,wes.org); International Education Research Foundation (IERF www.ier£org); and <br />SpanTran: the Evaluation Company, CSTU, however, accepts evaluations from all other credible <br />sources.. <br />Page 11 of 65 <br />
