We have commented on the numerous Santa Ana council agenda items dealing <br />Adrlwwy ConinWfee <br />with the city's controlling of rents over the past couple of years. Most recently, we <br />submitted comments on the proposal to require a super majority vote to amend the <br />uanrel ltudderove <br />recently adopted rent control ordinance. Several of our members and their attorneys also <br />IMN <br />submitted written comments for the record on the proposal that a super majority (2/3) <br />ht,W PreskleWs <br />vote of the full council would be required to amend the current rent control and just cause <br />Iidl��n <br />b�11�1�>, <br />eviction ordinance. This is an ordinance that was adopted in the first place by a simple <br />VV'IIII Miller <br />obey (l1 �nde� •r <br />( eug Uo uyher, 'I <br />majority of the council.
