Vfl H ET- Octo l-wr 3, 2023 <br />116�1a „e Two of Two <br />Option Three — Oppose <br />See attached MHET letter and other previously submitted communications from park owners and <br />their legal counsel outlining objections to requiring a 2/3 super majority of the council to amend <br />the existing ordinance that was originally approved by a simple majority of the council. <br />Options Four and Five - Oppose <br />These proposals put two measures on the ballot asking the voters to approve rent control and the <br />requirement that a 2/3 vote be required to amend the ordinance. Obviously, both of these <br />measures could not be on the ballot at the same time since they are in conflict. It is hard to <br />understand why you would consider spending hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars to <br />put these issues on the ballot.
