Task 9 Deliverables: <br />» Final Zoning Code (pre -check final and final) — Word <br />» Graphics package — Illustrator, SketchUp, and other formats used <br />» Formatting memorandum <br />TASK 10: POST -ADOPTION CEQA, TRAINING, AND CONTINGENCY FOR CHANGES <br />The purpose of this task is to provide follow-on services to City staff to ensure the new Zoning Code <br />works well as envisioned. <br />Subtask 10.1: Notice of Determination <br />We will prepare the Notice of Determination (NOD) upon final City Council action. Our work scope <br />assumes that City staff will be responsible for posting the NOD at the County Recorder and paying <br />associated fees. <br />Subtask 10.2: Zoning Code Guide and Training - — OPTIONAL TASK <br />This is an optional task not included in the budget. <br />We will prepare a highly graphical, simple- to -navigate User-Guide/Handbook for the public that <br />explains how to use the new Zoning Code. The handbook will contain sample graphics, tables, and flow <br />charts, along with helpful zoning code examples that demonstrate how the public can navigate the <br />Zoning Code and find answers to frequently asked questions/ information (e.g., residential setbacks, lot <br />coverage, commercial building signage, accessory structure standards, etc.). The handbook will be <br />organized in the following manner: <br />■ Introduction <br />■ Organization of the new Zoning Code <br />■ Purpose and Applicability of the Zoning Code <br />■ Zones, Allowable Uses, and Development Standards <br />■ Site Planning and General Development Standards <br />■ Standards for Specific Land Uses <br />■ Nonconformities <br />■ Permit Processing Procedures <br />■ Zoning Code Administration <br />■ Definitions <br />■ Format of the new Zoning Code <br />■ How to use the new Zoning Code <br />■ Reference to other applicable regulations that play an important part in the development <br />review process <br />We will submit the working draft document to City staff for review and comment and will facilitate <br />meetings and/or conference calls to review and discuss staff comments. Following these discussions, <br />we will prepare the Final Handbook and provide to the City. <br />MIG. Inc. 1 <br />9 <br />
