Purchase of 13 Storage Containers <br />November 7, 2023 <br />Page 2 <br />3 <br />8 <br />1 <br />8 <br />0 Bids Received from Santa Ana Vendors <br />Bids were solicited, opened on July 27, 2023, and evaluated (Exhibit 1). Four bids were <br />submitted by the IFB deadline. Of the four Bids received, three Bids were responsive. <br />The bid submitted by Sun Pac Storage Containers was deemed non-responsive due to <br />not submitting their Bid per IFB specifications and instructions. The bid submitted by <br />Bizon Group, Inc. was determined to be the lowest, responsible bid, was responsive to <br />the specifications, and meets the City’s requirements. <br />Local Outreach Efforts <br />The Purchasing Division advertised this project on the City’s online bid management <br />and publication system, which directly notified six Santa Ana vendors, none of which <br />downloaded the IFB and submitted a proposal for consideration. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funding is available in the current FY 2023-24 budget.
