The failure of the Resolution to even mention these <br />fundamental facts underscores the bias and distortion in the Resolution. <br />Further, the Resolution's advocacy in support of Hamas when it has <br />been silent on so many other international crises is telling. <br />Where are the City of Santa Ana Council Resolutions condemning the <br />internment and forced sterilization of the Uyghurs in China, the hundreds <br />of thousands killed by the Assad regime in Syria, the destruction of towns <br />and displacement of millions of people in Sudan, the executions of <br />women in Iran, the in discriminant killing and massacre of thousands <br />Palestinians by Jordan, the callous act of throwing gays off of buildings in <br />Gaza, and the refusal of Egypt to open its border and allow the <br />Palestinians free travel throughout the greater Arab world? <br />Please withdraw the Resolution immediately. Let your constituents know <br />that you do not support terrorism. Please do not send the message that <br />Santa Ana stands with Hamas.
