PHASE 11 — PREPARATION OF PLANS, <br />SPECIFICAITONS AND ESTIMATE (PS&E) <br />TASK 1. DEVELOP PLANS <br />A. Develop 30%, 60%, 90% (pre -final) and 100% <br />final construction drawings and submit for review by <br />City staff. PLAN CHECK AND PERMITS <br />Develop 100% construction drawings and submit <br />for plan check review by the City's Building & Safety <br />Division. Prepare and submit any technical reports <br />and/or plans associated with review of grading and/ <br />or building plans. Revise and resubmit plans for plan <br />check review until plans are approved for permit <br />issuance. Ensure that plans meet all ADA code <br />requirements for permitting. <br />TASK 3. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br />Prepare Technical Specifications and incorporate <br />them into the bid documents and Special <br />Provisions in preparation for City Council approval. <br />Specifications shall be in book format rather than on <br />the plan sheets. <br />TASK 4. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE <br />Prepare an updated probable construction cost or <br />Engineer's Estimate, <br />TASK 5. CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE <br />Develop a preliminary construction schedule for <br />planned improvements. <br />PHASE III — BIDDING AND CONSTRUCTION <br />SUPPORT <br />TASK 1. REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION <br />Provide responses to contractor Requests for <br />Information (RFIs) during subsequent bidding and <br />construction phases of development. If there is <br />a design error or if clarification is needed, timely <br />provide, and submit the necessary documentation for <br />Building and Safety approval so as not to impede the <br />construction schedule. Provide a weekly report of RFI <br />response status. <br />TASK 2. PRE -BID MEETING <br />Attend pre -bid meeting(s). Attend pre -construction <br />and routine construction meetings as needed. <br />TASK 3. SUBMITTAL STATUS <br />Provide submittal review and response during the <br />construction phase. Provide a weekly report of <br />submittal status. <br />TASK 4. CHANGE ORDER REQUESTS <br />Provide research and analysis related to contractor <br />requests for change orders. <br />TASK 5.
