Breath of Fire Latina Theater Ensemble - "Cantos, Cuentos and Corridos of Santa Ana" <br />DATE <br />Nov / Dec 2023 <br />thru April 2024 <br />Timeline 2023-2024 <br />The Launch of "Cantos, Cuentos and Corridos of <br />Santa Ana" - made possible by generous grant, <br />what's it about, who Its for, and who should <br />participate <br />Up to 10 Youth Workshops (Group A & B) and up <br />to 4 Adult Workshops (Group C-English and Group <br />D-Spanish) will be facilitated by our professional <br />artists. Each workshop to hold up to 20+ <br />participants per group. <br />Into to BOFLTE, The Project, Workshops, and <br />Participants <br />Surveys & workshops participants <br />Workshop Warm -Ups <br />OUTCOME. <br />- Announce receipt of SA grant award and the <br />funds will be towards our new project endeavor <br />posted, "things to come," on our social media <br />platforms, our newsletter and website. The City of <br />Santa Ana will be tagged or "hastaged" for each <br />posting, and or current logo added to materials <br />- We will engage with past, present, and new <br />(participants) writers (including project partners) <br />that fit BOFLTE project criteria and will be invited/ <br />encouraged to participate. Participants do not have <br />to have songwriting experience but are encouraged <br />to bring any instrument playing, singing, or song <br />writing experience to the each workshop <br />- Participants are encouraged to bring any <br />instrument playing, singing, or songwriting , <br />storytelling experience/ skills to each workshop and <br />potentially the musicians, singers, and or artists <br />needed for the final culminating event. However, <br />participants do not have to have experience in the <br />above areas to take part in the process. <br />- Up to 15 (Spanish and or English) songs will be <br />hand selected out the process to present 2 to 5 <br />Santa Ana Youth groups (ages 13 to 18); 2 to 5 <br />Ensemble (group) Writers (ages 18 to 80+); 2 to 5 <br />other SA artists/community members/ partners <br />(ages 18 to 80+) <br />- Each workshop / activity of the project / process <br />will be shared on social media platforms, our <br />newsletter and website. The City of Santa Ana will <br />be tagged or "hastaged" for each posting, and or <br />current logo added to materials <br />- Participants will have an understanding of the the <br />group intentions and goals and the expectations of <br />the workshops and the project. Community <br />agreements will be created/ established with each <br />Faciliators will survey at the end of each <br />rorkshop through "a showing of hands" before end <br />f time. Additionally, participants will be asked to <br />ike paper/online survey at the end of the <br />- Each workshop is opened with mind, body, and <br />vocal warn -ups lead by Facilitors. Warm-ups <br />modifications are available. Participants are <br />encouraged to take care of themselves. <br />
