Mulching of Bare Areas <br />In all shrub areas where bare soil is visible, the Contractor shall apply US Composting <br />Council STA tested and approved compost mulch Y- 4" minus by 2" thick minimum twice <br />per year (third week of January and July) and as necessary to maintain uniform and <br />complete coverage. Leaf litter and other organic materials other than mulch shall be <br />removed continuously. <br />a.
