(9) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />EXHIBIT II <br />ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />I. Contractor Responsibilities <br />Contractor shall provide and is responsible for all equipment necessary to carry out the work <br />outlined in the contract. There will be no available storage for equipment. Contractor will be <br />reasonable for bringing in and then removing all equipment necessary to carry out the work outlined <br />in the contract. <br />Q. General Conditions <br />i. Definitions <br />a. "Director's Representative" (DR) shall mean the Executive Director of Parks, <br />Recreation and Community Services designated representative( s) <br />b. "SAPRF" shall mean Santa Ana Park and Recreation Facilities. <br />c. "Pruning" shall mean the practice of removing lateral shrub or tree branches <br />and may also be referred to as "trimming" <br />d. "Weed" shall mean any undesirable or misplaced plant. <br />e. "Hardscape" shall mean any resilient surface other than turf or planting beds, <br />such as but not limited to curbs, gutters, sidewalks, decomposed pathways, <br />asphalt pavement, mow strips, bollards, signs, grandstands, benches, picnic <br />tables, drinking fountains, BBQ's, fencing, railing, tire stops, etc. <br />R. Scheduling of Work <br />i. The Contractor shall provide landscape/grounds maintenance between the hours of <br />6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. The schedule may be modified <br />only with the DRs consent. Landscape/grounds maintenance that generates excess <br />noise cannot begin before 8:00 a.m. <br />ii. The Contractor shall establish schedules of "routine work" to be followed in the <br />performance of this contract. In addition to the Contractor submitting the Monthly <br />Park Maintenance Inspector's Inspection Schedule and other required monthly <br />reports, the Contractor shall submit weekly schedules -listing the work tasks, the <br />crew performing the task, and the projected hours to complete the task. The <br />schedules shall be emailed to the Director's Representative by Thursday at 4:00 <br />p.m. for the upcoming week. Any changes in the schedule shall be reported in writing <br />48 hours before the proposed change and must be approved by the Director's <br />Representative. The schedule shall include days of the week and what person/crew <br />will be performing specific work in accordance with the specification. <br />S. Local Office <br />i. The Contractor shall maintain a physical office within the 714 area code (local <br />office). The local office shall be open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., <br />with a company representative present at all times.
