The addition of <br />new lights will increase the community’s sports and play options with lighted <br />recreational amenities that will activate the park, thus decreasing vandalism and illegal <br />activities. <br />Santa Ana City Ordinance No. NS-3041 authorizes the City to utilize purchase contracts <br />for any public agency utilizing a competitive bid process. Sourcewell, a cooperative <br />government purchasing agency, awarded a contract to Musco Sports Lighting, LLC. <br />(Contract No. 041123-MSL) as a result of open competitive bidding on behalf of its <br />members, which includes government agencies. <br />Staff researched available procurement options and product offerings in the market and <br />determined that Musco Sports Lighting, LLC meets the City’s specifications.
