Washington Ave. – Crossroads at <br />Washington <br />Washington Santa Ana Housing Partners were <br />issued permits in 2022 to construct a new, four- <br />level, 86-unit affordable residential community <br />with a 1,060-square foot commercial space, as <br />well as amenities, 120 parking spaces, and <br />landscaping. The City provided $4.6 million in <br />financial assistance to the project. The project <br />will consist of 42 three- and four-bedroom units <br />for large families, and 43 one- and two-bedroom <br />units. A total of 85 units will be for extremely low- <br />income households earning 30 percent or less <br />AMI. The application and waitlist officially <br />opened for the project in November 2023. <br />Expected completion in 2024. <br /> ADU Pre-approved Plans <br />In November 2023, the Planning Division made 11 pre-approved ADU plans available for <br />the public’s use. These plans were published on a new City webpage dedicated to <br />assisting the public with the development of ADUs. The pre-approved plans are available <br />in studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom layouts and offer a choice of four design styles <br />depending on the size.
