Evaluate the appropriateness of the <br />new Healthy Housing Standards for <br />applicability to Santa Ana Municipal <br />Codes and incorporate relevant portions <br />to assist city staff in conducting <br />inspections and enforcing city codes. <br />12/1/2023 <br />PBA staff is in the process of evaluating and implementing SB 838 which <br />mandates substandard building or lead hazard violations to be inspected, which <br />includes any portions of a building intended for human occupancy or premises <br />on which such building is located that is determined to be substandard, as <br />applicable, into the City's code enforcement efforts. <br />9.
