Density Bonus <br />Ordinance Update <br />B. Maintain up-to-date density bonus <br />information on the City’s website to <br />provide developers with information on <br />the opportunities to develop affordable <br />housing using state density bonus law. <br />Ongoing The City's Planning and Housing divisions webpages are up-to-date with density <br />bonus information and procedures. <br />24. Density Bonus <br />Ordinance Update <br />C. Prepare and make density bonus <br />application determinations within three <br />months of application submittal to the <br />review/approval body, contingent upon <br />any other discretionary actions required <br />for approval of the project. <br />Ongoing The City's Planning and Housing divisions continue to review density bonus <br />requests in a timely manner and in accordance with state law. <br />25. Affordable Housing <br />Opportunity & Creation <br />Ordinance (AHOCO) <br />A. Continue to offer incentives beyond <br />the requirements of the City’s <br />inclusionary housing ordinance, known <br />as the Affordable Housing Opportunity & <br />Creation Ordinance (AHOCO). The city <br />will continue to promote the program via <br />the City's website and with developers. <br />Every developer that brings a project <br />forward will be made aware of the <br />incentives available at the time. <br />Ongoing <br />The Community Development Housing Division continues to manage <br />Inclusionary Housing Plans for new projects per the Affordable Housing <br />Opportunity & Creation Ordinance (AHOCO). In CY 2023, the Housing Division <br />updated the program manual and documents and updated the application to <br />comply with the updated AHOCO. <br />25. Affordable Housing <br />Opportunity & Creation <br />Ordinance (AHOCO) <br />B. Collect and leverage in-lieu fees with <br />other sources to support the production <br />and/or rehabilitation of affordable <br />housing for extremely low-, very low-, <br />and low-income families with a goal of <br />funding eight projects for the planning <br />period. <br />Ongoing <br />In CY 2023, the City collected $834,000 in in-lieu fees which will be used for the <br />development of housing affordable to low- and moderate-income households, <br />with a reasonable amount spent on administrative or related expenses <br />associated with the administration of the Ordinance. <br />B-105
