Collaborate with SCAG in a Curb <br />Management Study to identify best <br />practices and pilot project for parking, <br />deliveries, and travel for all modes of <br />travel in the downtown. <br />12/1/2024 The Curb Managemet Study was completed in 2022. <br />28. Parking Study & <br />Management <br />D. Develop a pilot program to partner <br />with commercial property owners and <br />school districts to utilize parking at <br />centers and schools adjacent to <br />residential uses to expand parking <br />options for residential neighborhoods. <br />12/1/2023 City staff conducted research and kicked off this pilot program in 2023. <br />28. Parking Study & <br />Management <br />E. Work with OCTA and other <br />transportation agencies to develop <br />strategies that encourage the utilization <br />of alternatives to current parking <br />standards to lower the cost of housing, <br />support greenhouse gas and vehicle <br />miles traveled goals and recognize the <br />emergence of shared and alternative <br />transportation modes. <br />12/1/2023 <br />Through the Zoning Code Update, the City will work with OCTA and other <br />transportation agencies to develop strategies that encourage the utilization of <br />alternatives to current parking standards to lower the cost of housing, support <br />greenhouse gas and vehicle miles traveled goals and recognize the emergence <br />of shared and alternative transportation modes. <br />B-108
