A-5 <br /> <br />ELEMENT REF # EJ IMPLEMENTATION ACTION AGENCY TIME <br />FRAME 2023 UPDATE <br />Community 1.5 Yes Alternative facilities. In park deficient <br />and environmental justice areas, identify <br />facilities that are viable alternatives to <br />public parks and municipal facilities for <br />recreational, cultural, and health and <br />wellness programs, including but not <br />limited to school facilities, facilities of <br />faith-based and civic organizations, and <br />privately owned recreation and <br />entertainment facilities. Identify, <br />inventory, and rank other resources for <br />potential park system acquisition, <br />expansion to existing parks, and/or parks <br />development opportunity within the <br />community. <br />PRCSA 2022 PRCSA added Ed Caruther's Park to its <br />Park Inventory, as well as the grand re- <br />opening of Santiago Park. In addition, <br />continuing development/construction is <br />taking place at Santa Anita Park, <br />Centennial Park, Memorial Park, 10th <br />and Flower Park-Site, Bristol and <br />Tolliver Park Site, the Bristol Recreation <br />Corridor, and PRCSA's newest park <br />location Gerardo Moute Park, formally <br />Standard/McFadden Park Site. All park <br />operations were standardized to be <br />open from dawn until 10 p.m. system <br />wide to encourage accessibility by <br />residents, as well as benefit LED light <br />projects with security lighting attached.
