Evaluate the City’s budget <br />and financial policies to include direction <br />for prioritizing public services and <br />improvements within environmental <br />justice area boundaries. Augment <br />budget meeting presentations to include <br />a section dedicated to the status of <br />actions and improvements to address <br />the needs of residents within <br />environmental justice area boundaries. <br />CMO Annually Staff worked with City Budget Manager <br />to schedule a segment of community <br />budget meetings in EJ areas, provide <br />interpreting in English/ Spanish, and <br />bring translated material to ensure <br />community members fully participate in <br />the City budget process. <br />Conservation 1.18 No Support transit. Evaluate opportunities <br />in parks, open spaces, scenic linkages, <br />and greenway corridors to restore native <br />vegetation and establish, where <br />appropriate, native plantings that <br />require limited water and fertilizer. <br />Restoration and establishment of native <br />PRCSA/PWA 2021 & <br />ongoing <br />Park Planning Division developing a <br />landscape standard which will include <br />various palettes that include waterwise, <br />California native and riparian planting.
