Reduce <br />the amount of carbon dioxide that <br />would otherwise be released into the <br />atmosphere through the continued <br />maintenance and expansion of the city’s <br />urban forest and development of other <br />green infrastructure. Explore options to <br />include green infrastructure <br />requirements in new public realm plans. <br />PWA Ongoing In 2023, the City was awarded $7.35 <br />million of competitive statewide grant <br />funding from the Department of Water <br />Resources and California Natural <br />Resources Agency for stormwater <br />capture and urban greening projects. <br />These projects include new drought <br />tolerant landscaping and shade trees. <br />Conservation 4.1 No Water education.
