Provide continuous <br />evaluation of existing security program <br />and look at ways to enhance and <br />strengthen; consider formation of <br />neighborhood watch group, park host, <br />or other similar program. <br />PRCSA 2022 Added security cameras to six park <br />sites; upgraded lighting at six park sites <br />and the Pacific Electric Bike Trail. New <br />security company retained with <br />expanded hours, enforcement <br />capabilities and enhanced force to <br />make repeated visits to park sites. 24/7 <br />Park Host at Thornton Park. <br />Open Space 2.5 No Healthy amenities. As facilities are <br />upgraded, include amenities that <br />improve the health and wellness of <br />residents, including hydration stations <br />and shading devices. <br />PRCSA 2021 & <br />ongoing <br />Shade structures installed in 2023 to <br />compliment the 10 Fitness Court <br />throughout the community. Aquatics <br />programming delivered to the <br />community in Summer 2023 with over <br />3000 Learn-to-Swim lessons provided. <br />Expanded Aquatics programming <br />scheduled for Spring 2024. Community <br />Gardens have expanded hours <br />throughout the community with <br />increase participation. Community <br />Walking/Hiking groups, as well as, <br />Community fitness activities delivered <br />through the Health & Wellness Section. <br />Open Space 2.6 No Healthy indoor options. Explore options <br />to incentivize or require the provision of <br />indoor recreation space, particularly in <br />environmental justice areas that <br />PRCSA 2023 Expanded recreational center program <br />options at Jerome and Salgado <br />Community Centers. Adult Men's & <br />Women's Basketball, Latin Zumba
