<br /> Annual Action Plan <br />2024 <br />52 <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 (exp. 09/30/2021) <br />AP-60 Public Housing – 91.220(h) <br />Introduction <br />The Santa Ana Housing Authority administers 1,793 Housing Choice Vouchers and does not own or <br />operate and public housing units. The Santa Ana Housing Authority was consulted during this <br />consolidated planning process. It is the intention of the Authority to continue to provide safe, attractive <br />affordable housing to its HCV clients. <br />Actions planned during the next year to address the needs to public housing <br />Not applicable, the City of Santa Ana does not manage public housing developments. <br />Actions to encourage public housing residents to become more involved in management and <br />participate in homeownership <br />SAHA increases resident involvement through resident involvement in presentations at community <br />meetings, online communication, public notices, and public hearings. A broad citizen participation <br />process is maintained with traditional and electronic communication being used to notify the <br />community of ongoing planning efforts. The City of Santa Ana maintains coordination with public <br />agencies, private entities, and community residents through the City of Santa Ana’s Neighborhood <br />Initiatives Program (NIP). This assists more than 60 neighborhood associations in Santa Ana by providing <br />a conduit for two-way communication between residents and the City. Grant funding is administered to <br />increase housing availability and accessibility to residents to encourage greater participation in <br />homeownership. <br />If the PHA is designated as troubled, describe the manner in which financial assistance will be <br />provided or other assistance <br />Not applicable. <br />Discussion <br />n/a <br />EXHIBIT 1
